About our services at Window Cleaning Specialties:
Full House Window Cleaning
This is typically a service I provide to all of my new clients and one that I reccomend at least once a year. All of your screens are removed, the window casements and tracks are cleaned, followed by a hands on cleaning of all glass. We blade any debris (paint, tree sap, etc) from the glass, followed by a polish to remove any remaining stains, and squeegee them clean.  As always, if there are specific windows (such as basement or garage windows) that you don’t want cleaned, we are happy to customize this service to meet your needs.
Exterior Only Window Cleaning
This service is often used by customers who have a full house window cleaning once a year and want their windows maintained more frequently throughout the year. This is also a great service if you prefer to clean your own interior windows and aren't willing to take the risk of cleaning higher to reach windows on the exterior. New clients often ask, "How often should get my windows cleaned?" Personally, I clean my own exterior windows about 5 or 6 times a year, but I'd say at least half of my regular customers have them cleaned anywhere from 2-4 times a year. It's really your own personal preference.
Pure Water Window Cleaning
On nearly all of our maintenace cleans we will use a piece of equipment that is commonly referred to as a water fed pole or WFP. A two stage filter using reverse osmosis and de-ionizing resin removes all of the total disolved solids (TDS) from the source water. Our city water typically has a very high TDS (400-600), which causes significant mineral deposits from sprinklers on your windows. Rain water and snow melt has a very low TDS <10.  Once the water is filtered, it is then fed up through a pole with a brush head, which removes debris from the window frames and the glass. Once the glass is thoroughly cleaned, the rinse bar removes all of the dirt and debris in a sheet of water to the bottom, and off the window, left to air dry. We use an entirely self contained truck mounted unit with our own water tank, so we don't have to use any customer water source, and can keep our water in a perfectly controlled state.

Waterfed pole has many advantages: zero chemicals, eliminates ladder work, high efficiency and more cost effective, and even in some cases, better results than hand cleaning. Howver, it's not intended for every situation. If someone is offering to do a first time clean of your windows quickly and cheaply with a water fed pole (not a thorough nose to glass cleaning), you're better off spending your money on a bottle of Windex.
