Pure Water Window Cleaning
Pure water has revolutionized the process and safety of window cleaning over traditional methods of squeegees and ladders. This technology was revolutionized in Europe to prevent liability/safety issues with multi-story residences that tend to be cleaned more frequently. With better access to equipment it has become more popular here in the United States, as a result we have been using it here at Window Cleaning Specialties for the last 5 years with solid results.
Water with a TDS (total dissolved solids) of less than 5ppm is applied to the glass with a WFP (water fed pole) and scrubbed with a variety of different brushes using absolutely no cleaning agents and rinsed away with pure water, the same technology used in a spot-free car wash rinse cycle. Typically we use traditional methods on first time cleans and use pure water on maintenance cleans. In the end, it's much safer than ladders, an endless supply of water allows the technician to thoroughly flush dirt and debris from the frame, and overall leaves a considerably cleaner window. Zero streaking, no soap residue, or lint from detailing cloths, and no damage to your sensitive landscaping!
